Description: Chamberlain's Worcester Porcelain Dessert Service
Comprising eleven dishes, three square plates, two oval dishes, four shell-form dishes, two urns and two heart-shaped dishes, each painted in the center with a floral specimen surrounded by a blue border with white flowers, some marked Chamberlains Royal China Worcester, 155 New Bond Street, London. Length of largest 11 5/8 inches.

Condition Report: Ten Plates: one plate has a small shallow flake loss to the underside rim edge; another plate has a few nicks/small chips to its foot ring; each of the plate centers and some of the wide blue borders have light, superficial knife scratch marks; there are losses to the gilt decoration notably to the interior ring band and inner laurel ring band; the gilt rim edges appear to have less wear/rubbing; otherwise, each appears to be in generally good condition; no other apparent rim chips, losses, hairlines, etc

Eleven Serving Dishes: each appears to be in generally good condition, with the exception if the following noteworthy condition issues: some wear/ rubbing to the blue ground on some of the dishes; two of the four shell form dishes have some areas of paint loss to the petals or leaves of their floral centers; there is some staining/ discoloration to some of the white areas on the top side, where stains have penetrated through the protective glaze; wear and rubbing to the gilding; otherwise, no apparent rim chips, hairlines, etc.; not blacklighted

Two urns: one urn has a discolored stain mark/ hairline crack, located on the interior side of its body extending downwards in a vertical direction, originating at the top rim edge and extending downwards, approximately one and a half inches in length; this same urn appears to have had professional restoration to at least one of its handles; there is also a fair amount of paint flake loss to the floral blossoms and leaves to each of the two reserves; there is also a carbon or other type of inclusion (black in color) that sits on the top surface of the circular foot as well as another smaller inclusion nearby, which is under the blue glaze; otherwise each urn and cover appear to be in generally good condition, i.e, no apparent rim chips, nicks, hairlines, etc.; some wear to gilding; not blacklighted
