Charles Demuth (1883-1935) three plays-stockbridge tempera on board 25 by 20 1/2in. (63.5 by 52.1cm.) Painted in 1926. The present work may have been painted for Mr. and Mrs. George Cramcook who were members of the original Provincetown Playhouse. Mrs. Cramcook was also known as Susan Glaspell.
