30in. fine damascus nitro barrels, rib with scrollwork at the breech end and engraved ''CHARLES LANCASTER. 151 NEW BOND ST. LONDON. PATENT EJECTOR.'', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 1/2 choke, left extractor guide missing, Charles Lancaster patent assisted opening action, incorporating HAA Thorn patent semi-selective single trigger, patent no. 5517 of 15th March 1895, (selector slide stiff, in forward position fires choke barrel only), dipped-edge lockplates, automatic safety, mainspring cramp adjuster screw, best border and scroll engraving, retaining traces of original colour-hardening, 15 1/4in. figured semi-pistolgrip stock including 1 1/4in. leather-covered rubber recoil pad, fore-end with grip-catch release, weight 7lb. 4oz.
