Description: Charles Marion Russell (1864-1926) bronze figural group, "Smoking with the Spirit of the Buffalo", depicting a Native American man with pipe and upturned gaze, sitting before a buffulo skull. Mounted on a black marble base. Impressed signature, "CM Russell" and the intials "RBW" for Roman Bronze Works. 5"H x 8 1/4" L. Provenance: Private Nashville, Tennessee collection.

Condition Report: Bronze overall very good condition. Some slight chipping to marble base.
