Ellis, limited to 438 copies, of which this is one of 425 on paper, printed in red and black with the text in Chaucer type and the titles of the longer poems in Troy type, 87 wood-engraved illustrations after Burne-Jones, wood-engraved title, the illustrations and 30 pages introducing a new tale or book within elaborate borders, many also with large initials, and other large and small initials designed by William Morris, original holland-backed boards, spine discoloured, upper joint worn, vellum, silk ties, uncut, [Peterson A40], large 4to, 1892.
