Has good fancy hands, 6" silvered dial and applied Arabic silvered numbers with some light tarnish. Good brass movement, time and half hour strike on a coiled gong, balance has good brisk motion, strikes properly; movement signed "Chelsea Clock Co. Boston - 86017". In a brass ship's wheel case with a good patina. Complete with a rare "automatic" brass bell; designed to strike when the clock strikes.
