A Chevrolet Corvette from 1979 that was modified in the USA is auctioned here. What makes this car so special is the new ZZ4 5.7 liter engine with 450 hp. Other engine features complete the configuration package of this sports car. Most of the conversions were executed by a large American Corvette dealer.



The Corvette runs well, its power can be felt.



Despite the car's good overall condition it is recommended to check the steering, the body, brakes, electrics and the tires and to exchange wear parts where necessary in order to pass the general inspection and to obtain the H-license plate for historic vehicles.



The Corvette C3 was introduced as the third Corvette generation in fall 1967 and was built until fall 1982. From 1969 to 1976 the model was sold with the world-famous designation Stingray. The C3 was one of the most successful models ever. Production period was between September 1967 and October 1982. A total of 542,861 units of the Corvette C3 were built, among them 70,586 convertibles, which were only made between 1967 and 1975. With a total of 53, 087 units built, 1979, the best production year in the history of the Corvette, fell into the era of the C3. (bde)
