China, Warring States Period, 475 to 221 BCE. This is a rounded, hollow bronze axe with a wide socket. The patina on the piece is an incredibly turquoise on the tip of the blade that quickly becomes deep azurite blue. Size: 3.1" L x 2.25" W (7.9 cm x 5.7 cm)

Provenance: Ex-Estate of John Piscopo. Mr. Piscopo was one of the largest collectors of ancient weapons in the US with a collection that spanned all cultures, all ages.
