Description: CHUZO TAMOTZU (1891-1975): EAST 11TH STREET
Lithograph in black on wove paper, signed and titled in pencil. 21 1/4 x 14 1/4 in. (sheet), 27 1/4 x 21 1/4 in. (frame).

Note: Tamotzu was born in Japan and came to NYC to work as an artist in 1920. He served as a war artist with the US Army during WWII. From 1948 until his death in 1975, Tamotzu lived in John Sloan''s former studio in Santa Fe, NM.

Condition: With margins. Staining and surface soiling. Remains of old glue and some skinning on the reverse.
