CINNABAR LACQUER HEXAGONAL JARDINIÈRE
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
the lobed sides carved with panels of auspicious items, against lotus and scrolling tendril ground
- There are some age splits, the longest one measuring circa 10cm in length
- Flaking of the brown lacquer to the interior, the upper border of the interior has been repainted with red lacquer
- The edge of one of the four feet has been repaited
- Signs of use and wear
