Looking for the realized and estimated price?

Description: This is a rare and outstanding example, custom made in 1895 Birmingham, England by J. & A. Zimmerman. This highly collectible and very sought after case is very rare, as only the upper echelon of that time could afford a custom ink pen case made from solid sterling silver, especially from J. & A. Zimmerman. The inside bares a total 6 hallmarks. A shield with J & A Z, which is J. & A. Zimmerman Birmingham. An anchor, meaning its from Birmingham. A lower case, cursive letter ' y ', which dates the case to 1895 and the lion facing the left, which means its at least 92.5 % silver (Sterling). The case is 100% original, hand made and even has the original cloth straps inside. It has not been cleaned or altered in any way, leaving the original patina to the buyer. the case is approx 6" in length by 2.75" in width, weighs 158.8 grams (5.12 ounces). This is a rare opportunity to own or gift a one of a kind, MUSEUM QUALITY piece of history.
