Description: Civil War General Webb's Canteen, cloth cover over metal canteen, cloth strap marked PHILADELPHIA BRIDAGE - Gettysburg - 1863 with what appears to be blood stains, cork cap, metal top with ring and attached chain. Webbs Philadelphia Brigade stopped Pickett's charge at Gettysburg. CONDITION: Outer cloth has tears and loss, dented on one side, wear from age and use. NOTE: This item & information was obtained from the owner, a prominent Philadelphia military/weapon collector.
