Impressive June 18, 1776 Massachusetts 4s4d Note
Colony of Massachusetts. June 18, 1776. Four Shillings Four Pence. Due Date of June 18, 1778. Choice Very Fine.
Fr. MA-203. This 1776 dated Revolutionary War small size typeset note is nicely centered within four full margins, printed on clean cotton fiber period paper. Pleasing in its lightly circulated appearance having a sharply written deep bold brown signature and serial number with a contemporary notation "4/4" displaying the denomination clearly both at upper right and somewhat larger on its blank reverse.
