Description: Pennsylvania Currency
Gem Crisp Uncirculated July 20, 1775 PA Twenty Shillings
Pennsylvania. July 20, 1775. Twenty Shillings. Plate B. Gem Crisp Uncirculated.
Fr. PA-178. This is a gorgeous, fully original and crisp Revolutionary War period note. This "Nature print" reverse design Pennsylvania issue is far more scarce than the 1773 issue notes with the printed engraved farm scene on its reverse. It has bold black printed text and designs on fresh bright, exceptional clean paper with outstanding vivid bold brown signatures and serial number. Both sides are quite well centered. A superior, premium quality rare Gem note of only 3,500 printed in 1775.
