Colonial Notes Printed by B. Franklin
June 18, 1764 BENJAMIN FRANKLIN 20s PCGS AU-50
Province of Pennsylvania. June 18, 1764. Twenty Shillings. Plate B. "Printed by B. FRANKLIN" Issue. Apparent minor edge restorations, signatures enhanced. PCGS graded About New-50.
Fr. PA-126. An outstanding quality impressive "Printed by B. FRANKLIN" Issue note with a light horizontal centerfold. The three signatures are each vivid and in rich original period ink. The "signatures enhanced" statement is absolutely wrong. Unlike PCGS this cataloger is an actual expert in signatures of the period and these are righteous. The centering is choice such that the full border designs are present. A valuable BENJAMIN FRANKLIN printed note that is truly rare in this superior quality.
