Description: Rhode Island Currency
Scarce Issue May 3, 1775 Rhode Island Six Pence
Colony of Rhode Island. May 3, 1775. Six Pence. Backed, Conservation. Fine.
Fr. RI-175. The rare Six Pence denomination as the lowest value on its issue. Solid black printed text and designs with some conservation along the centerfolds. The blank reverse side is backed with contemporary period laid paper that is very clean. A note of this low value would naturally receive significantly more wear and tear from circulation.
