Description: Continental Currency
First "THE UNITED STATES" Titled Currency Issue of May 20, 1777 Continental Congress at Philadelphia $8 Note
Continental Congress. May 20, 1777. Eight Dollars. First "The United States" Titled Currency Issue. PMG graded Extremely Fine-40.
Fr. CC-69. An attractive note on the First American Currency issue to bear the official title: "THE UNITED STATES." For this important historic reason it is very popular issue with collectors of American paper money. Holder reads, net grade, previously mounted, staining. This note is well printed, looks nicer in person with mostly wide above average margins.
