Uncut Pair of February 26, 1777 Continental Notes
Continental Congress. Uncut Pair of Two Notes. February 26, 1777. Baltimore Issue. Eight Dollars and Thitry Dollars. Choice and Gem Crisp Uncirculated.
Fr. CC-61 & 62. This wonderful and scarce Uncut Pair has a $30 at left and an $8 right. The $30 is a bright fresh gorgeous Gem, the $8 trimmed such as to be graded Choice with a small bit of tone to its lower right corner, with both notes having traces of original press text embossing still within the paper. Vivid rich red and brown signatures of Horatio Johnson and James Walker, plus the mated serial no. 42882 on each note. A valuable pair.
