COUNTRY CHIPPENDALE DROP LEAF TABLE.
American, 2nd half-18th century, walnut. Single board top and leaves, four reeded legs (two are swing legs). Old mellow refinishing, age splits, and top has added screws. 28"h. 48 1/4"w. 16"d. with 15" leaves, 46"w. overall.
Approximately six new screws in the top, top has about 3 old age splits about 8" to 12"l. Old edge wear along top and legs. Top has slight warp at corners. Small holes in the apron behind swing legs - possibly to reinforce glue blocks.
