Description: Artist: ANONYMOUS Size: 42 1/8 x 28 1/4 in./107 x 72 cm Miner, NY Appearing on Broadway in 1897, Cuba's Vow ran for almost four years to enthusiastic audiences. The story itself is an allegory for the writer's sympathies to Cuban insurrection, with a US Naval lieutenant aiding a Cuban woman in her rebellion against the Spanish.
