Description: A Cypriot alabaster vase, Late Cypriot II, c. 1450 - 1200 BC, imitating a Mycenaean form, the long tapering body, narrow neck and wide flat rim, and large handle with thick lower area. The interior bored vertically downward. H: 6 1/2 in (16.4 cm). Light deposits. Custom Lucite stand. Ex NYC private collection.
