This CZ 125A is very well-preserved and in original complete condition. Over the past decades it was kept in a collection and was not used at all.

The light-weight motorcycle by the Czech manufacturer ?eská zbrojovka a.s. (Strakonice) was developed in 1942-43 and produced between 1945 and 1947. A total of around 3,000 unis of the ?Z 125 A were made. It was eventually replaced by the ?Z 125 B, which was later offered as T and C variant. It was based on the ?Z 98, from which fuel tank, underframe and headlamp were taken over. The bike features a two-stroke one cylinder engine with 125 ccm and has an output of 4 hp at 4200 rpm, reaching a maximum speed of ca. 70 km/h on even grounds. While the ?Z 98 had 26‘‘ tires, the tires of the CZ 125A were reduced to 19‘‘ so that the frame and the front fork with pneumatic progressive shock absorbers also had to be scaled down. One of the most famous owners of such a bike was James Dean, who got a 1947 ?Z 125 from his uncle for his 15th birthday.

The vehicle has to be paid and collected within 7 business days after the auction. The collection may be made via collection by the costumer or via collection by a transport company. A timely collection can also made via a commissioning of Auctionata to a fee-based transport (flat shipping rate). If the time period lapses without a result, the buyer has to pay storage costs in the amount of 25,- € per day.
