Description: DEAN ADAMS PATENT PERCUSSION REVOLVER, NO. 16696
CIRCA 1850
with London view and proof marks with blued sighted octagonal barrel signed on the top strap, plain signed frame inscribed Adams patent no. 16696 R, blued loading rammer and safety catch, finely chequered walnut butt with blued butt cap, 6 inch barrel; together with another similar REVOLVER 9463 R, with some scroll engraving, missing trigger guard, no original colour; a SPANISH PIN FIRE DOUBLE BARREL PISTOL, with folding triggers and shaped butt; and a SMALL BORE CENTRE FIRE PISTOL (4)

Condition Report: 1. Adams 1 retains all original blueing some minor corrosion spots on barrel some scratches missing case and accessories.
Adams 2 missing trigger guard, no colour remaining corrosion spots on barrel
3. Spanish pistol loose barrels overall corrosion
4 small bore single barrel pistol overall corrosion loose slab sided butt.
