Attributed to Deerfield, Massachusetts, 18th century, pine. One-piece cupboard with a nine-pane door over a double-paneled door, and old blue and white paint. 79.5"h. 35.5"w. 13"d. Ex Jerry Smith (Massachusetts), found in the Deerfield area.
The old blue paint appears to be over the original yellow grain paint; the hinges on the door have been moved to the opposite side with a missing latch, handle and lock that have all been filled in with putty; repair at the bottom proper right corner of the door and case; the interior of the door appears to have been cleaned down with the glass having some replaced glaze.
