Description: the subjects including birds and animals, trees, landscapes, exotic costumes, trades, circus acts, commedia dell arte characters, Paris street cries, acrobats and dwarves, c.580 individual engravings in fresh original hand-colouring, cut round and mounted on rectos of 121 sheets of laid paper, an additional group of unmounted engravings loosely inserted at end, a few very minor defects but generally in fine condition, contemporary vellum, cloth ties, small folio (318 x 190mm.), [ Augsburg and Paris, c.1730-1790]. The earlier subjects published by Martin Engelbrecht in Augsburg, the majority by Basset, Crepy and other Paris printsellers.
Bank transfer. All transfers must state the relevant sale number, lot number and your bid / paddle number.
