Linocut proof for the Belgian periodical "Ruimte" ("Space"), 1920, on orange paper, 295x273 mm; 11 3/4x10 3/4 inches, signed with artist''s monogram in pencil and stamp of Emile Maeyens in lower margin * Linocut proof for the catalogue "2de Kongres voor Moderne Kunst," Antwerpen (Belgium), January 23rd, 1922, on translucent tissue. 241x191 mm; 9 1/2x7 1/2 inches, monogrammed and dated in the plate and in pencil, lower margin. [Antwerp, 1920s]
Notes: Two fine linocuts from the Belgian graphic designer and painter who founded the avant-garde group Kring Moderne Kunst along with Emile Maeyens. Maeyens was owner of the artists'' shop, De Distel which served as the circle''s salon.
