Description: Desmond Sheen TLS. Flight Officer Desmond F.B.Sheen of No 72 Squadron an Australian baled out of his Spitfire I (X4109) safely on September 1st 1940 at Ham Street, Kent. He had been in combat with some German fighters. On September 5th 1940 he was wounded in combat after baling out of his Spitfire I (X4034) near Hawkinge. He was later promoted to the rank of Wing Commander and awarded the D.F.C. and Bar Good condition. All items come with a Certificate of Authenticity and can be shipped worldwide.
