Description: Large Early Eastern Imperial Roman hollow gold ring with cornelian intaglio of a bust of Demeter, Goddess of the Seasons, Agriculture, and Bounty, Protector of Families. She appears in left profile, and ear of grain before her, the Greek letter delta behind her is likely the initial of the owner. Intact, 1st Century AD, probably Turkey.
Ring size is approximate, since ancient rings are not perfectly round.
