Description: 2 December 1835 LONDON. 1 Share of £20. orange. #5000. No 4033. Printed on vellum. Folds. One of a group of mines in the Callington area of east Cornwall, producing mostly copper and tin, with traces of silver and pyrites (for another example, see previous lot). In the 18th century Callington was one of the most important mining areas in the UK, but today is famous as the leading producer of Cornish pasties!
