18 x 21 5/8 in. (45.7 x 54.9cm)
Locks Gallery, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Private Collection, South Orange, New Jersey.
With tack holes at all four corners, inherent to the working method of the artist. Also with intermittent soft indentations along all four edges, consistent with the shape of staples, which were presumably removed and also possibly inherent to the working method of the artist.
With pale time staining and colors slightly faded. The extreme corner edges very slightly worn. With an occasional tiny stray foxmark, for example one pinprick mark in the violet curved shape at upper center. The edges verso exhibit intermittent staining consistent with contact from acidic materials from a previous hinging method. Hinged to the support with white paper tape in three places at top horizontal edge verso. Generally in good condition.
