Description: An Egyptian pale green faience ushabti, Late Period, c. 664 332 BC, depicted mummiform and standing on integral base, wearing striated tripartite wig and false beard, arms folded at chest, hands holding a pick and hoe, bag over left shoulder, vertical column of Hieroglyphic text down the front of the legs and a vertical plinth down back. Nicely detailed facial detail and a very pleasing example! H: 5 2/3 in (14.5cm). With antique wood black base. Ex New York private collection.
