Nunzer; title in red and black Slight foxing and toning in places, interior otherwise crisp and clean. A handsome tome Comprehensive alphabetical encyclopedia of public and feudal law of the Roman-German empire. The unusual frontispiece set in a baroque ornamental frame depicts the emperor of the Roman-German empire on his throne surrounded by three allegoric figures symbolizing law and justice. The preface of this book is by Christian Gottlieb Buder (1693-1763) who succeeded the famous jurist Struve as professor of public and feudal law at the University of Jena
