Manufactured on May 6th, 1902 based on research from the Cody Firearms Museum. This excellent Deluxe Winchester Model 1894 Rifle features special order half octagon barrel, close set double set triggers, Lyman sights and deluxe checkered pistol grip stock. The top barrel flat is marked with the two line address ahead of the rear sight, the left rear flat is marked with the two line nickel steel/smokeless powder marking and the top flat at the breech is marked "30 W.C.F.". The left rear upper flat is marked with a London provisional proof followed by ".300" (upside down), and there is a "crown/V" proof on the left side of the receiver ring. The serial number is marked on the bottom front of the receiver. The barrel is fitted with a Lyman combination folding globe sight and a two leaf folding rear sight. There is a tang mounted short range Lyman cup disc peep sight. Blue finish with casehardened hammer, lever and buttplate. There is a hard rubber Winchester grip cap on the stock.
