Fabergé, St. Petersburg, circa 1901
The egg in grey guilloché enamel, with the Roman monogram FR and the date 1901, the bale stamped 56 with mark of Yakov Lyapunov and marked indistinctly in Cyrillic possibly "AH" for August Hollming, partially obscured by a French import mark, on a contemporary three-color gold chain.
