Description: Artist: RAIMON Size: 14 x 19 3/4 in./35.6 x 49.6 cm Literally meaning "disguised," "travesti" was a French theatrical term referring to the portrayal of a character by a performer of the opposite sex, evolving into the words 'travesty' and 'transvestite' as well: clearly the intention behind this costume shop's risqué ad, in which you can see the red-caped masculine figure wearing feminine high-heels below elegantly shaped legs.
