Description: Federal inlaid mahogany tall case clock

early 19th century

Fretted, arched hood above conforming door opening to a painted metal face with moon phase enclosed by columnettes with brass stop fluting, the case with inlaid door, flanked by fluted corner columns with brass stops, inlaid plinth, bracket feet.

PROVENANCE:

The Estate of Andre and Nancy Brewster, Maryland.

Condition Report: Tall case clock: Cracks allover consistent with age. There is a break to one of the feet (see photos). The clock includes 2 winding keys, 2 door keys, weights, and 3 brass finials (which may be replacements). The brasses have been newly polished.
