Description: published in 1796, the cover inscribed to Fraulein Jenny Lind and signed Felix Mendelssohn Barthody. Mounted in a shadowbox gilt wooden frame.
The inscription appears to be from the 19th century and shares some similarities with known Mendelssohn writing, however we cannot verify it was actually penned by the composer named.

Condition Report: Age toning and soiling to the book; the inscription remains clear.
