The Ferrari 308 is a 2 seat sports car, which was built from 1975 to 1985 as a coupe (GTB) and Spider (GTS). The 308 Series was already known from the Dino 308 GT4 V8 mid-engine.
The 308 body as a pure 2-seater came again from the pen of Pininfarina. Initially the engines were equipped with a 4 fold fiber plant for mixture preparation. The 308 body as a pure 2-seater again came from the pen of Pininfarina. Initially the engines were equipped with glass fibres for fuel injection. Due to stricter emissions standards, the engines were equipped with injection systems (308 GTBi), but with lower power rating.
To get back to the original performance, Ferrari developed the Quattrovalvole (16 valve), compensating for the power deficiency of the first "I" models surpassing the carburettor models with flying colors. The 308 Quattrovalvole was often compared in its construction by the press directly with the Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2. The Ferrari shone not only with technical properties such as engine and suspension qualities, but of course with it's visual stimuli.
The vehicle is an Italian first delivery. The vehicle was in the hands of a competent auto mechanic master, who meticulously listed its maintenance in a notebook. Recently the car was barely driven, which the worn TRX tires (with full profile) confirmed. The Ferrari was imported in 2016 to Germany. After an extensive service incl. cambelt replacement, replacement of all fluids and a new set of Michelin TRX tires there are no obstacles standing in the way of new adventures, the 308 GTB QV has German documents (ZLB I + II) (short registration) and can be approved immediately.
