FLORENTINE GILTWOOD MIRROR
the rectangular bevelled mirror plate in a laurel banded and acanthus carved frame
80cm high, 58cm wide,
- In overall good condition, and of nice appearance and colour; we believe that the frame may be early 19th century
- The bevelled mirror plate is in bright good condition, retaining its silvered backing; mirror plate is a replacement
- The frame shows signs of repair throughout, with a more noticable repair to the lower facing right hand side, and some chips and losses here and there at extremities and tips; some signs of old wood worm holes
- The gilding remains bright to most areas, with some rubbed spots and flaking, as expected with age and use
