An original Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor in the reinforced police version is offered here. The car runs well, gears shift smoothly. On the outside traces from the daily use on the streets can be seen, however, this also contributes to the car's special appeal.
The rear compartment is separated from the driver's compartment for the protection of the policemen. It is not as comfortable as the front seats, as it has the original seat bench from when it was still on duty.
The police lights are still functioning, however, the original control is missing.
The perfect vehicle for advertising purposes or a great addition to every collection.
The Ford Crown Victoria is the advanced variant of the Ford LTD from 1978. Along with the parallel model Mercury Grand Marquis, it belonged to the generation of the last full-size cars after the classic American models from 1996 on. They had rear-wheel drive, an automatic gear-shift lever on the steering wheel as well as 6 passenger seats. The second generation, built from 1997 to 2011, is particularly captivating for the front part with the suggested radiator grill and a rooftop with a broader C-pillar. Just as it was the case with the first version, the car was popular with taxi companies and the police. (bde)
