This small brother of the Ford Mustang – a 1967 Mercury Cougar XR7 – was partly restored a short while ago and has been prepared to meet the requirements of the German general inspection and the H-certification.

The car runs well and has a lot ot power on the new rear wheels, which is also owed to, among others, the new Edelbrock carburetor. Electrical and mechanical functions are all okay and the car can, apart from a couple of minor things that must be done in order to pass the general inspection, hit the road.

The engine should also be inspected. (bde)
