The cult Mustang with 4 seats was built in 1965 and had 3 previous owners. It was extensively restored in 2007 and is in very good condition. After the full restoration the two-door coupé was driven for about 1,200 km. The leather interior is in perfect, mint condition. The underbody is rust-free. Offered here is an honest Mustang without alterations.
In 1964 the American car manufacturer Ford began the production of the model Mustang. For trademark reasons, the car was sold in Germany with the type designation 'T5'. The mustang is the forefather of the 'Pony Car' class. The name also describes a type of horse. In the late 1960s German car makers copied the Pony car concept. Typical representatives of this inexpensive sports coupe were the Opel Manta and the Ford Capri. The Mustang took over first place of Ford's most successful sports coupes from the Thunderbird.
