Description: Four Obsolete Fractional Currencies
A 50¢ and a $1 current from North Carolina, dated 1861 and 1862 redeemable in 1866. Both notes are F or better with nice detail remaining. Also, two 23¢ notes from the Bank of South Carolina dated 1861. One has a gamecock drawing and the other a Fort Sumter drawing. Both are legible, very good grades with one note printed on back of a partial Spartanburg Union Railroad Co. bond issue. Great collectibles.
