Description: Early 6th century AD. A bronze square-headed bow brooch comprising: rectangular headplate with raised border, two hooked-cross motifs and cell (for a cabochon garnet?); broad bow with four Style I profile masks; cruciform footplate with central lozenge and cell, Style I lappets to the shoulder, Style I motifs to the outer edge and plain finial; catchplate and remains of ferrous pin to the reverse.
