Description: Frederick (Fred) Hall R.B.C., N.E.A.C. (1860-1948) "The Pack Horse Bridge, Allerford, Nr Porlock, Somerset" Signed, oil on canvas, 51cm by 61cm See illustration Born in Stillington, Yorkshire, Hall studied at Lincoln School of Art and at Verlat's Academy in Antwerp. He exhibited at the Royal Academy, the New English Art Club, the Fine Art Society and the Paris Salon where he won a gold medal in 1912.
