Description: French Empire Portico Clock. 5 in. Silvered dial w/ black roman numerals and minute markers, open moon hands, round leafy dore bronze bezel; typical round French brass movement with count wheel strike mechanism and silvered bell; movement signed - Fons 1827. Has a quality gridiron pendulum and a fancy dore bronze flower shaped bob; the mahogany case has smooth columns w/ dore bronze capitols and applied mounts; quality French bronze movement. 21.5 in. high x 11.5 in. wide.
