Description: DESCRIPTION: A G. Wostenholm & Sons fixed blade knife. Circa 1860. Left side of blade is stamped "G. WOSTENHOLM & SON / WASHINGTON WORKS / SHEFIELD". Left ricasso stamped "I*XL". Pinned ivory grip panels. Silver medallion decoration on left panel with the initials "JR" marked on the same side. MEASUREMENTS: Blade is 5". 9-5/8" overall. CONDITION: Blade shows evidence of past sharpening. Old pitting on both ricassos with spotty pitting along both sides of the blade. Mild patina to both ivory grip panels with some material missing from the bottom of the left grip panel. ESTIMATE: $150 - $250
