Description: DESCRIPTION: An antique regency style sterling British teapot by George Hunter I. Features repousse scrolled floral motif along with roses and an array of other flowers,bottomed by repousse swirling designs. Finished with an acorn finial handle along the lid, and swiveling whicker top handle, and lastly, and eagle motif spout. The warmer and base features reticulated floral motif with fringed ribbons and soaring birds. Rests on three arching rococo scrolled feet in the motif of clam shells on the bottom. Teapot locks into the warmer with two sterling prongs that release to detach the two pieces. Marked:"GH" in a rectangle along with London town mark, a lion, and a calligraphy "O" CIRCA: 18th Ct.
