Later plate with some foxing and crystallization. Good quality gilt gesso frame; typical age cracks, rubbing and minor losses to gesso. Rebacked and mirror plate slightly loose. Restorations to carving at cresting. The egg and dart and rosettes on cresting are possibly carved later.
