Description: GEORGE III MAHOGANY FRAMED DOUBLE CHAIRBACK SETTEE
18TH CENTURY
the serpentine top rail above a straight padded back and scroll arms, over a serpentine seat, raised on cabriole legs carved at the knees with shells and ending in claw and paw feet with recessed brass castors
169cm wide, 96cm high, 61cm deep

Condition Report: width between arms: 142cm. depth: 58cm; overall width at widest part: 166cm

- overall in worn and used country house condition
- the centre front leg is a later replacement
- frame is essentially sound and joints are tight
- one corner bracket lacking from rear L leg
- springs seem to be okay, if a bit soft
- some castors replaced
- upholstery is very dirty and stained but generally intact
